At a later stage, with a clear advantage on the board, Pradeepan traded queens. The queen should have remained on the board as an invaluable attacking piece. Round 7 vs DRW: Board 3
Pradeepan's game has a great single theme. In a slav type position black neglected the development of his white squared bishop. As you watch the game you will notice how he struggled with his queen's side development all game long. I included a couple explanations covering the proper path to bishop development. Once black omits an early break needed to develop the bishop I point out a couple lines how white could have continued to prevent its development. As it turns out this was not necessary, black simply continued to neglect his bishop. So the theme is this c8 bishop!
